When will we mow your yard?

At Grounded Earth Property Services, our lawn mowing services begin Minnesota generally begins in late-April and ends by October 31st, weather permitting.

Our Process: We will use a line trimmer to cut along the perimeter of your property, mow the front & back yards and blow all debris back onto the lawn. We will edge along your property lines with a metal edger for the first service, then follow up bi-weekly afterwards. We mulch rather than bag (unless there are a lot of weeds or very tall grass) in order to feed your lawn.

Will my lawn be cut every week?

Your lawn is scheduled for service on the same day each week, at no specific time, based on a set route with other nearby customers.

Inclement weather and other uncontrollable factors could impact your schedule at times, however. We will communicate with you promptly via email and/or text when this occurs.

How much does a lawn mowing service cost?

Pricing starts at $50.00 per cut on a weekly basis (we do not offer bi-weekly cuts), depending on the size and complexity of the property. Most of the lawns we service and specialize in are small residential lawns that are under 5,000 square feet in size.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my service?

For our lawn care service, please ensure that all dog poop, toys and other obstacles are removed from the lawn so that we can properly mow. We are not responsible for damaged items and there is an extra service charge for dog waste. See our billing & payments page for more information.

Is same-day lawn care service available?

Due to our routine scheduled maintenance, we unfortunately cannot accommodate same-day service. Please reach out for an estimate. Once approved we will be able to get you on our schedule.

Is all-electric equipment really better than gas?

In terms of sheer power and performance, battery-powered equipment is every bit as good as its gas-powered counterpart. However, there are a few key differences that set the two types of equipment apart. First, battery-powered equipment is much quieter than gas-powered equipment. This can be a significant advantage if you live in a densely populated area or if you simply want to avoid disturbing your neighbors. Second, battery-powered equipment produces zero emissions, making it much more environmentally friendly than gas-powered equipment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We do not do contracts for our lawn care services; everything is pay as you go. When you sign up with us for weekly mowing we will come out to service your property on a regular basis. You must give at least a 48 hour notice of cancellation prior to your scheduled service day.

What Payment options are available?

Payment is accepted by all major debit/credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Per our billing policy, we require a card on file for service. We do not take cash or checks.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we offer a $50 Referral Bonus for each new customer that you send to us. We really appreciate the business, so this is our way of reciprocating our gratitude.
